2026 So Far

7/22/2026

How are we more than half way into 2026 already, and without a single blog update. Crazy, shocking, what a surprise but here we are now, so let's highlight a couple of our favorite 2026 events so far.

Amber & Matheus

This wedding was special. It's not everyday that you get to capture the love story with a unique personal connection to the couple. We shot this wedding event with a large portion of our personal family in attendance. Matheus is a former exchange student to our family, having spent his junior year of high school as live in member of our crazy household. To say we are proud of the man he has grown to become would be an understatement. However all that aside this wedding coverage was incredible. Hosted at The Oxford Exchange in Downtown Tampa, considered one of the premier wedding locations of the Gulf Coast, every photo came out like a dream. The room was filled with an electric energy as our bride and groom couldn't take their eyes off each other the whole night.

Kasey & Chad

We love when we start the year off right working at new venues. It gets the creative flow going as we work back into wedding season. October Oaks Farm was our second new venue of the year, and it was amazing. Every location and backdrop across the property brought beautiful colors and settings. Our couple Kasey & Chad may go down in history as our most relaxed couple to work with, and they and their bridal party jumped into every photo spot we could squeeze into the day.

It's has been a great start to the season, and we can't wait for more events to come. We do still have some open weekends for booking so please check out the contact us form and reach out. We are actively updating the website and have just introduced a new contact form that will allow us to better answer questions and start serving you from the minute you click the submit button.

Blog Update: 2025

Where to being.... the last blog post was in 2023 and was about, well, a lack of blog post. Its now 2025 and if we are being honest we all know and understand that the daily demand on our time pulls us in so many directions. The need to maintain instagram, TikTok, and countless other platforms has drawn our time away from writing blog post. Call it the TikTok shut down of this week, something has sparked an interest in keeping things archived here in a blog format again. That being said lets get into the details of where we stand as a Central Florida Wedding Videography and Photography company to date with a full update.

Staffing update: As the introduction implies the daily demand for content to promote the business is a full time job, thanks to that we've had the pleasure of bringing Ashley on in a full time role. Managing marketing and promotion while also pulling double duty as a second shooter and customer service focal point.

Projects update: The last 2 years have been filled with so many professional accomplishments its hard to narrow down where to start. In the coming weeks we will be going back and showcasing some of our bigger projects from 2023 and 2024. Leave us a comment on where you think we should start, but just to give you some ideas let me briefly highlight a few of my favorite moments. We've covered more Disney Fairytale Weddings at this point that we consider ourselves specialist in what it takes to work inside the requirements that come with covering a Disney event. Our experience in this field even resulted in the chance to cover a Disney Cruise Line wedding on Castaway Cay, we certainly hope it wasn't a once and a life time gig but it certainly felt like it on the scale of the experience. The travel / destination side of our business has continued to grow by adding Maryland to the list of states we've worked in. That brings the grand total to 4. (Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, & Florida) Finally we've covered some incredible new locations all around Florida. Our skill set allows us to excel in any conditions at any location including in the woods with only twinkle lights to work with. We hope that you'll come back and check out more of our stories from the field in the coming weeks.

Equipment update: Part of running a business is making sure that we stay on the frontlines of the equipment. This ensures that we can offer the most up to date quality on the market. If you have the chance go back and check out the blogs we've written about our Sony A7S3 camera we use for video coverage. These are still incredible pieces of equipment. However as we have increased the photo side of our bookings to now represent more than half of our clients we felt it was time to add in a dedicated photo only option. That being said we have added a Sony A7R4 into the mix of our gear. Additionally we are now up to 3 A7S3 cameras in the kit, with an emergency back up Sony A74 that can fill in any format as needed. Let us know in the comments our reach out for a consultation if you want to learn more about the lens, microphones, and lighting solutions we use to capture events.

Blog Update: 2023

Life certainly got in the way of the blog experience here on the website. We are full swing into the 2023 wedding booking season with 5 bridal expo on the schedule. There has been no shortage of amazing photography and content experience over the last 2 years that I should've been writing about. Hopefully over the next few months I can back track and update with some of the amazing moments we've captured, but for now here is a quick update.

It was a goal all along to capture a Disney Fairytale event, and at this point we can say mission accomplished. In the last year we've had the pleasure of capturing not one but two events with a third scheduled for next year.

Growing a business has always been a challenge, with each success comes a new challenge. That's what brings us back here to blogging about this journey. Sharing little bits of the behind the scenes experience so that we may better connect with our clients both past and future. I look forward to adding more and more information here in the blog and hope you'll join along in the experience as we continue to grow and strive for personal success of delivering the best results we can for our couples, families, and friends along the way.

Galea (2021 Series)

In the past I've talked about the difficulties that I have faced in the process of trying to build this business during the pandemic, but where there have been obstacles, there have also been genuine moments of support and growth. This blog is the story of the second wedding I ever booked for Martin Media Production, and how that event didn't actually happen until September 2021.

Devyn & Ryan have been my most dedicated couple to date to work with. We have stuck by each other over the course of the last 18 months, from 3 cancelled wedding dates, to a relocation cross country, to the premier of their wedding film this evening. Be sure to check out our youtube this week as it will go public once the couple has a chance to enjoy it for themselves.

I can't express what it meant to have a couple stand by my work, and support me as I developed my personal style over the last few years. Devyn has always been a positive supporter, proving compliment along each step that I have taken. She has watched how my skills have grown, stating "They were great to start with too". I am so excited to have been able to put together a wedding video that I feel they will cherish forever.

Life is always full of ups and downs, watching Devyn and Ryan navigate the process of 3 cancelled wedding dates, and showcasing their love for each other when it final was their turn was the climax to this story. I just want to say thank you to them one last time for sticking by my side and allowing me to be a part of their event.

Why Sony? (My Gear Series)

Wow, how fast 3 months went by without updating the blog. It has been a busy couple of months with a wedding in Michigan, an anniversary trip to Iceland, Sail Boat day trips, and so much more. There is a ton of content coming across all our channels very soon. In case you didn't know, we are on instagram with 4 different accounts, these feed into 4 unique facebook pages, we also have 2 tiktoks, as well as 2 youtube channels, and then this website too.

Be sure to find and follow anything you're interested in, our accounts are wedding related, photography focused, theme park vlogging, and finally our personal accounts. Message us for direct links!

Now with that being said let's get onto today's topic. The reason I mentioned all our account is so you understand why we don't always have content on certain accounts daily. We pride ourselves on creating each and every piece of content that we promote and put out. However the video below is an exception to that.

We wanted to utilize the information as perfectly presented by the experts to expand on why we use Sony cameras for our wedding videographer services. If you click below the video will actually start at Test #5. This test shows the extreme difference in quality a camera can produce in a low light situation. Watching the whole video will reveal other test that may be subjective over which brand is better, but as you can clearly see in test #5 Sony is king when it comes to low light image quality for video.

What this means for your wedding video is that we are able to work without setting up major lighting rigs that take away from the experience and ambiance of your event. It is our goal to be a fly on the wall that captures your special moments. without taking even an ounce of focus from you. While we do offer lighting services if you want the absolutely best quality possible, thanks to Sony cameras we can get great quality without them too.
