Life certainly got in the way of the blog experience here on the website. We are full swing into the 2023 wedding booking season with 5 bridal expo on the schedule. There has been no shortage of amazing photography and content experience over the last 2 years that I should've been writing about. Hopefully over the next few months I can back track and update with some of the amazing moments we've captured, but for now here is a quick update. It was a goal all along to capture a Disney Fairytale event, and at this point we can say mission accomplished. In the last year we've had the pleasure of capturing not one but two events with a third scheduled for next year. Growing a business has always been a challenge, with each success comes a new challenge. That's what brings us back here to blogging about this journey. Sharing little bits of the behind the scenes experience so that we may better connect with our clients both past and future. I look forward to adding more and more information here in the blog and hope you'll join along in the experience as we continue to grow and strive for personal success of delivering the best results we can for our couples, families, and friends along the way.

In the past I've talked about the difficulties that I have faced in the process of trying to build this business during the pandemic, but where there have been obstacles, there have also been genuine moments of support and growth. This blog is the story of the second wedding I ever booked for Martin Media Production, and how that event didn't actually happen until September 2021.
Devyn & Ryan have been my most dedicated couple to date to work with. We have stuck by each other over the course of the last 18 months, from 3 cancelled wedding dates, to a relocation cross country, to the premier of their wedding film this evening. Be sure to check out our youtube this week as it will go public once the couple has a chance to enjoy it for themselves. I can't express what it meant to have a couple stand by my work, and support me as I developed my personal style over the last few years. Devyn has always been a positive supporter, proving compliment along each step that I have taken. She has watched how my skills have grown, stating "They were great to start with too". I am so excited to have been able to put together a wedding video that I feel they will cherish forever. Life is always full of ups and downs, watching Devyn and Ryan navigate the process of 3 cancelled wedding dates, and showcasing their love for each other when it final was their turn was the climax to this story. I just want to say thank you to them one last time for sticking by my side and allowing me to be a part of their event. Wow, how fast 3 months went by without updating the blog. It has been a busy couple of months with a wedding in Michigan, an anniversary trip to Iceland, Sail Boat day trips, and so much more. There is a ton of content coming across all our channels very soon. In case you didn't know, we are on instagram with 4 different accounts, these feed into 4 unique facebook pages, we also have 2 tiktoks, as well as 2 youtube channels, and then this website too. Be sure to find and follow anything you're interested in, our accounts are wedding related, photography focused, theme park vlogging, and finally our personal accounts. Message us for direct links! Now with that being said let's get onto today's topic. The reason I mentioned all our account is so you understand why we don't always have content on certain accounts daily. We pride ourselves on creating each and every piece of content that we promote and put out. However the video below is an exception to that. We wanted to utilize the information as perfectly presented by the experts to expand on why we use Sony cameras for our wedding videographer services. If you click below the video will actually start at Test #5. This test shows the extreme difference in quality a camera can produce in a low light situation. Watching the whole video will reveal other test that may be subjective over which brand is better, but as you can clearly see in test #5 Sony is king when it comes to low light image quality for video. What this means for your wedding video is that we are able to work without setting up major lighting rigs that take away from the experience and ambiance of your event. It is our goal to be a fly on the wall that captures your special moments. without taking even an ounce of focus from you. While we do offer lighting services if you want the absolutely best quality possible, thanks to Sony cameras we can get great quality without them too. The EventBy: Danielle Martin As our first wedding traveling back to Michigan , it was a pleasure to experience the hospitality of the Jurgensen-Roy bridal party and The Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn staff. Tara contacted us after having seen our profile on The Knot, and was excited about the content that we have previously created. Groom, Dylan, brought a sense of positive energy to the planning sessions and was nothing but smiles for the whole wedding day duration. It was an incredible joy to be around two people that have described their own relationship as "Always going up, never a down moment." This love and commitment shined through in the ceremony and portrait moments at the gorgeous Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn. More about the venue in the next paragraph. The VenuePure Michigan does not begin to describe the beauty of this hidden gem located in Berrien Springs, MI. The Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn featured the perfect landscape for a Michigan summer wedding. The rustic charm paired with the colorful flowers created a breathe taking grounds for hosting a wedding. The venue includes a 1870's built barn nestled within 70 acres of Western Michigan farmland. Tara and Roy held their ceremony under the towering Northern Catalpa tree that is over 150 years old. The barn showcases a blank canvas that allows you to create the decor your envision for your pintrest picture perfect concept. We were certain to take the newly pronounced Jurgensen's on a stroll through the vineyard as the sunset set on another beautifully captured wedding videography service.
A Tampa Garden Wedding. Lanny & Leonardo invited me to be a part of their wedding day at the Tampa Garden Club. It was an incredible opportunity to work along side Karen of EventFull wedding again. You can find her blog entry by clicking the button below. She has showcased our video in her blog, so be sure to go over to her site and give it a watch. The Garden club was a beautiful location in Tampa showcasing a beautiful outdoor ceremony with breathe taking water front views and formal indoor reception. I do have to admit one minor mistake that I made in the early stages of booking this event. I have never booked a Spanish speaking based event, as such it never crossed my mind that this event would be in all Spanish. The phone calls and meetings leading up to the event were all completed in English, it wasn't until the day of that I realized this would be a uniquely challenging experience when it came to editing. The wedding and the culture of everyone involved was incredible and such a fun experience. Dj Dani kept the entire guest list on the dance floor all night long with salsa and meringue dancing filled with energy and excitement.
